Poll-itics: Obama catching up in Indiana and Georgia

By GottaLaff

Obama gains, Gramm-pa McCain's dropped points in tight races:

SurveyUSA: Obama Gains in Indiana

A new SurveyUSA poll in Indiana shows Sen. John McCain edges Sen. Barack Obama, 48% to 45%.

Compared to an identical poll released six weeks ago, McCain is down 2 points; Obama is up 1.

Next:

SurveyUSA: Race Tightens in Georgia

A new SurveyUSA poll in Georgia finds Sen. John McCain leading Sen. Barack Obama by just eight points, 52% to 44%.

Just 13 days ago, McCain held a 16-point lead in the Peach State. Obama's share has increased 3 points and McCain's has dropped five points.
Slowly but surely... hopefully...

gotta, this election has got to be bad for my heart. So many times per week I find my heart beating wildly and there's nothing I can do about it. This campaign is so fucking exciting.

BFCE.

I feel the same way, King.

How does that song go... .I've got Georgia on my mind. I think Georgia's going that way. Michelle Obama pays a visit to Paula Deen and she's cooked up somethin' special.

The train has left the station. Next stop... South Carolina???

Obama is not going to win in Georgia (especially since he pulled his ground game from that state); however, Indiana may be do-able.

It's nice to see these numbers even though I predict both states will stay red, at least it gives you some hope the LBJ prediction (which was right), may finally be changing.

I think the country is getting used to Obama and becoming numb to his race and some are actually paying attention to what he has to say. The more you see him, the more you can picture him being the President. But we still have a long way to go.

It's the worst right away in the morning when Gotta is posting great stuff. I've just had my morning coffee and my system is already flushed with stimulants.

The added adrenalin is just too much sometimes. Veins start popping out on my neck, blood pressure gets high...

You have strange effects on me, you lovely bloggers.

And here I thought it was my pretty face and dazzling personality.

There are plenty of volunteers in GA, just like SC. It's quiet and is still flying under the radar of the media...Do you think he has a chance in SC? I'm not sure, but I've worked very hard...How about WV? Quiet ground game there too, and we just opened some offices here in SC again.....

Gotta, that's what keeps me going.

Hey King, I'll be taking a sedative soon before I stroke out or something...Coffee sounds good, though. Hmmm...

George... thanks for bringing me back to earth. Now I have another song in mind...John Lennon's Dreamer.... ”I know I am not the only one...”

I think you are right. The more the see of Obama the less color you see his color. You see in his strong jaw his maternal grandfather, you see in his eyes his mother and sometimes, hopefully in his vision for the country, you see a good man who wants to do great things.

Oh, your personality has a lot to do with it, I'm sure. I am such a sucker for witty, intelligent women. And who doesn't like redheads?

Sometimes, gotta, if you were here showing me those great polls and articles- I don't know what I'd do. I can be a bit impulsive.

Anon, forgive me but I'm a huge Lennon fan. The song was "Imagine".

But your comment was wonderful.

King, that's better. I can now proceed with the rest of my posts.

Don't go dying on us, Ady- There is so much more to come. You wouldn't want to miss out on anything.

Gotta... I am soooo sorry. I am not worthy of your kind words and gentle correction. I am not as devoted to John Lennon and his music as I am to you.

GottaLaff said...

Hehehe, Anon, you just kissed ass better than anyone I've ever met.

You have moved to the top of my A List.

Actually, you got points for quoting Lennon, but this last one was gold.

I'm too young to die, King. But I just can't stop laughing. Maybe I'm just going crazy.

It's a happy day, so celebrate today's news b/c nobody knows what tomorrow will bring, right? You have to party along the way just in case you never make it to your destination. Now everyone have some faith, and please join me...

Nuff said, I do believe...

I don't trust USA poll since they were off the base on some of the Primary polls, but its good.

We all know even the racist might end up voting for Obama....what with our country becoming a national disaster and international joke.

Gotta and others, you know how John McCain has a lot of terrible, horrible, no good very bad days... well spending some time here makes me feel like I've had the most amazing, wonderful, intellectually stimulating, excellent day.

Okay, Anon, I get it. You're a sweetheart.

And we lerve you.

And we're glad we could do that!
