I am in tears over how funny this ad is. Remember when I said we'd win by 5%? I'm changing it to 6% because these people are beyond stupid. All this does is remind the viewer who the hell has been in charge for the past 8 years, what his party affiliation is and just how incompetent they are. Hysterical.

I have it on good authority from a Republican friend that the whole mess in Washington was caused by Democrats. Everything was going fine until the Democrats took control of Congress. The whole mess is their fault. This ad will feed right to them. I keep pointing out all the fallacies in his comments, but he really doesn't listen. He only watches Fox News and they verify his beliefs.
Alison, does your friend also think that all those Black people getting home loans are to blame as well? That one always gets a chuckle out of me.
Yes. And that we should have some law to prohibit gay marriage, etc., etc. And he backs up many of his arguments with his Bible. I keep pointing out that he is voting against his own economic interests, but he believes the McCain lies that Obama will raise taxes (even after I send him things showing he will do better under Obama). All media that points out the McCain lies are liberals. Oh, and my favorite recent comment was something he said about someone Jewish, but added a note saying that he had actual FRIENDS who are Jewish. I really need to just write him off, but I can't help but attempt to educate him. It just scares me that there a lot more out there just like him.
omg, paddy you are so right. This ad is so stupid.
"Vote for us. We are really bad but the other guy is worse!"
I agree with the others as well. The Republicans have been such a disgrace and a embarrassment for the entire world to laugh and make a mockery of.
On all of the blogs every single Republican has been hateful, nasty, racist, uses religion to try and cover up for their inadequacies, their comments have all been divisive and very narrow minded in it's context or way of thinking, while they make excuses for their mistakes, just so they can place the blame others.
If John McCain gets elected into office, I expect this to be the demise of America and how we'll lose even more respect globally. America's hey day will be over, because McCain will have the USA so alienated from the rest of the world with his bullying concept mentality, and his need to use force just to have things done his way, until I seriously doubt no other country will run to our aide if there's a catastrophe within America, or a War is waged. John McCain is known by those closest to him to be a "War Minded President" who will not hesitate to start a war without using enough diplomacy, and that's not even mentioning what he'll do the the US economy if he gets elected into office as POTUS.
The Republicans have really done a lot of damage to our economy as it is by over spending, borrowing funds from China, Saudi Arabia, and Great Britain to help finance the 10 billion dollars a month spent on the Iraq war just to name a few, so I seriously doubt this country will thrive or prosper another 4 years under the rule of another Republican president.
