AP Reported this morning on the damage the failed bailout bill has done to John McCain's campaign:H/t: AdyRepublican John McCain has maneuvered himself into a political dead end and has five weeks to find his way out.
Last Wednesday, McCain suspended his presidential campaign to insert himself into a $700 billion effort to rescue America's crumbling financial structure. In so doing, he tied himself far more tightly to the bill than did his Democratic opponent, Barack Obama.

Let's hope this just gets better and better.

Champagne FOR ALL...Screw Sarah. She's goin' home!
Pour me one, Ady. Our country needs a new direction, and we all know who can lead us. I toast Barack everytime I'm talking politics and have alcohol in hand already.
Personally, I'm hoping for a new version of the Civilian Consevation Corps, this time for green collar jobs. I'd hop on that so fast...
The King, I'm here in the south OMG unbelievable! Happy day, Happy day! Also found out some of my poetry will be published in London today--WHAT A GREAT DAY!
Why do all the columnists, pundits, commentators, and newsreaders keep saying the McCain suspended his campaign? He didn't & just 'cause he says it repeatedly doesn't make it true.
Congrats, Ady! You should write a little something for us sometime. I'm sure we'd all love to read it.
I'll send what will be published as soon as I know what they've chosen!
Great day for all!
YES WE CAN PEOPLE!
I live in florida, I'm not sure if Obama will win florida, But I think it would be very close if he was to Win florida, it would be probably by 2 percent. I dont think Obama will win virginia aswell, but everything else that is blue on the map, I agree with.
Diamond... what you say may be right... but we have to think he CAN win there. Let us use the quiet power of our collective wills, that people will simply do the right thing. Obama has been consistent from start to near finish and offers real leadership. McCain offers drama and a crisis management governing style. If the voters do not get that, they have a heavy burden to bear.
Yup! And it looks like McMagoo's got another thing wrong. Nobody told him that "crisis management" was about resolving a crisis, not nurturing the dam'thing.
