In today's forum Rick Warren asked John Mccain about what should be done about evil. In McBush's answer he referenced a story about mentally disabled Iraqi women that were used to bomb people in Baghdad. This story has been debunked. I have attached a blog post by Jonathan Turley that references a New York Times article that debunks this story.
Why do the frauds always win shit like that? David Gergen said McCain is going to be a very tough debate opponent for someone "like Obama." Gergen was also saying that McCain clearly connects with people emotionally much better than Obama. I'm so discouraged. Where's Clancy?
He said a lot of hog wash. I'm kinda used to it. I thought his description of tortured stress positions was real ironic since he now feels that is how we should treat prisoners too.
I know plenty of Christians that aren't too big on the war. It's too bad that the corporate media likes to think of the faithful as cardboard cutouts in the shape of Jerry Falwell and Ralph Reed.
Here's something for you to ponder on this event and the audience (which apparently was strongly in favor of McCain): tickets to the event were available for purchase only. Minimum price was $500. Many were sold for $2,000. What kind of folks can afford that kind of price? Hmmm . . .
You don't "win" forums. They are intended to be like conversations with a moderator. This one was supposed to provide insight into the candidates, a look inside them. I saw inside Senator Obama. I didn't see s . . t in, on or about McCain, just a guy playing to a gullible audience.

Adrienne, If something hurts, stop doing it.
Them Christians sure do like war and a lot of it!
I stopped watching, Clancy. But I'll be thinking about it late into the night.
