I think it is a good example of why Obama wants to control the message and not have 527's running ads. I don't disagree with it, but I think it is a bad ad. I like this one much better: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gBfngOsvmA0
Yep, but it's still a low blow, and unseemly. I know that Republicans can get away with this stuff, but if the Democrats did it, then I probably wouldn't be one for long.
This is where I disagree with the John Aravosis-es of the world. A candidate can be forceful and strong while counteracting GOP smears without climbing down in to the gutter with them.
The MSM is in bed with McSame. So, the only way voters are going to learn the truth about McSame is if blogger videos go viral, 527's and organizations like Move-On.org kick into gear.
Obama needs to accurately define McCain. All the statements in this ad are true. It's a little cartoonish which takes away credibility. But the idea is right on.
I have faith in the Obama campaign they will do what is necessary. After all, Obama is the intellectual, educated and with integrity. Sig the surrogates on McCain. (Where's the VP?)
Um, everything in the ad is okay except the info on his military service and the mention of his being a POW. If they took all that out, it might not be too bad.

I have been against gutter politics, but in view of the McCain campaign's really dirty politics I really like this one!!!!!!
