Voters walked out of Sarah Palin's first rally

By GottaLaff

Poor Sarah Louis Palin. Jumping headlong into the Big Time isn't easy! But if giving speeches is this difficult, imagine how demanding it would be to juggle multiple global crises.

Yesterday Paddy posted about how S Lou got booed at the mention of Hillary's name. But there's more:
But Palin's speech -- the same one she gave Friday -- was less well received. Because of either ballpark loudspeakers or just nerves, her voice cracked and at times rose to an uncomfortably high pitch. Midway through her talk, some families could be seen leaving the park.

And Palin's vow to "honor the effort" of Hillary Rodham Clinton -- a direct appeal to women and other disaffected Democrats in this blue-collar area -- appeared to backfire. The New York senator's name drew booing from the stands and infield so loud that it drowned Palin out.
In some ways, Hurricane Gustav may very well be doing the Republicans a favor.

I'm glad they walked out on that cow!
LOL! I keep thinking about that pastor who prayed for it to rain down on Invesco Field the night of Obama's speech. LOL! Better be careful what they pray for!:-)

She may be a good person and cool lady, but not too smart. She could have turned down the offer, saying she did not have the experience.

Why would she drag her family around to these events? A free trip to see America? Weird!

Gottalaff: I believe you are taking a vicious pleasure in this and other similar postings.

Well done, sir, well played! Taking this latest Fudd McCain blunder too seriously would be a grave error of judgement, and when the awful possibility of a Fudd-McCain/Palin White House comes to mind, humour is the best analgesic.

I am not a sir, sir.

Well, I'm new to this post but I have an idea and a suspicious mind. Lieberman could not be on the ticket without McBush losing his base. So, he puts in a woman who is favorable to his base, but who is being investigated. Should he win,(OMG) he would then remove her saying he won't have scandal in his Admin & he can replace her with Joe. Comments?

According to the Anchorage Daily News, Palin touts stance on 'Bridge to Nowhere', doesn't note flip-flop. Her claim to her accmplishment was half true at best. Just google Palin position on Bridge to Nowhere. You'll start to see the "same old, same old.

I watched this and it appears they're just booing the mention of Hillary Clinton, as in her, the Democrat, not Pallin invoking her. She continues on, it appears. She has plenty of clear cracks in her record, no need to fabricate one here.

I feel bad for Palin. She is now a token representative for women. She deserves better than that. If only because she is a better shot than Dick Cheney.

A token is small change. Not the CHANGE we need.

Sarah, you could have been a contender (in 2012). YOu could have been somebody.
